What our Guests Love

We booked the apartment because we were impressed by the photos of the view of the fjord and the mountains, and we were not disappointed. The apartment is located above Isfjorden on a farm. The apartment is very comfortably furnished, with many small details making it particularly personal and cozy. The very nice landlord couple really thought of everything: a large, well-equipped kitchen with mountain views, a spacious bathroom with underfloor heating and plenty of hooks to hang towels, and a sheltered terrace with views across the green meadows to the fjord. Everything is new and clean, Everything we missed in other accommodations is available here. If we had any questions or problems, the landlords helped us quickly and friendly. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the right place. Jogging routes and hiking trails are right outside the door, and this is also a good starting point for day trips to Alesund or the Trollstigen. We felt very comfortable here, but unfortunately our time was too short.

We enjoyed our 2 nights stay at Heinåli Hytta. The house is big, spacious, and has an upper floor. There are 2 bedrooms with a bathroom on the ground floor, another 2 rooms with a toilet on the upper floor - very convenient for the 4 of us. The living, dining and kitchen area is big, the latter is well equipped. The house is beautifully decorated and very cozy. The atmosphere is very welcoming. It is located in a very peaceful, quiet area, with an amazing view of the mountains and lake. It was perfect for us. We were greeted by cows the next morning, grazing on grasses - it was so nice to see! The owners Aslak and Paula, came to welcome us on our arrival - very friendly and helpful, they responded to our questions. Thank you so much for your lovely house.

Absolutely fantastic location and great hosts! The cabin was clean, fully prepared with bedlinen and towels by the time we came. Cabin was very well equipped with everything we needed including complementary coffee and tea. Cabin is spacious with a lot of windows looking towards the mountains and fjords! Hosts have put attention to details that makes the cabin very cozy! There was a nice catalog put together by the host with attractions and hiking trails around, which was extremely useful. Just mentioning in case someone else is looking at this as well - Cabin does not have a dedicated electric-car charger (i.e Type-2), but it does have a dedicated 220v wall outlet outside main entrance near parking area with easy access to the car. Charging is slow (for me it was about 20km added per hour of charging), but extremely convenient to top-up after a short-day trip or let it charge overnight. There is plenty of fast chargers in Andalsnes which is about 10km from the cabin.
